Winter at Camp Pinewood explodes with the beauty of God's creation sculpted in ice and snow.  From alpine skiing at 2 resorts to cross-country skiing at Ponderosa Park- one of Idaho's premier state parks - this whole area is alive with winter sports and activities.  Manchester indoor ice rink is 3 blocks from camp.  We have a large snow tubing hill and we provide the tubes and toboggans.  The camp has trails for snow-shoeing or cross-country.  Perhaps just sitting by a roaring fire with hot chocolate is the way to go.  The city of McCall hosts a winter carnival in January/February as well as other winter activities throughout the snow season (which is long!)  Winter here is great--- come up for a visit.
