Meet Our Staff

Interim Executive Director - Kyle Maschek
Kyle joined the Camp Pinewood (CPW) staff as Assistant Executive Director in November of 2022. Kyle and his wife Bobbie have been attending and serving in various ministries at New Hope Baptist Church of Nampa, Idaho since 2010. Together with their 2 adult children they have always enjoyed life in the outdoors and the mountains of Idaho. They are overwhelmingly grateful for the opportunity to serve Christ by serving His church in the ministry at Camp Pinewood. Their greatest joy is to share the love of Christ and the truth of His word.

PROGRAM SPECIALIST - NATHAN CUKURS
​Nathan Cukurs started at Camp in March of 2022 as the Program Specialist. 
Nathan primarily programs our summer camps but he also spends a lot of time helping maintain our facilities, especially plowing the snow in the winter. 
Nathan served 6 years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman from 2015 to 2021. He joined our Summer Team in 2021 before coming on full time in 2022. Nathan enjoys drawing, leading worship, and hiking. 
​Nathan grew up going to Meridian First Baptist Church between 2000 and 2010, and attended Camp Pinewood as a camper while growing up in Idaho.  He enjoys serving with everyone who is involved in the ministry and seeing God work through Camp Pinewood.

GUEST SERVICES SPECIALIST - AUTUMN RAMIREZ
​​​Autumn Ramirez joined the Camp Pinewood staff as a Food Service Specialist in June of 2023.  In March of 2024, she began overseeing all of Guest Services.
Autumn loves to be outdoors going on walks with friends, and going on hikes, while also appreciating a quiet evening with a good book. She is currently enrolled in online classes through Boise State University for a Major in Behavioral Education, she will graduate in fall of 2025. She has attended Columbia Heights throughout the years since 2014 and has attended Camp Pinewood as a camper. Autumn is very excited to serve and grow in her relationship with God through Camp Pinewood.
