Executive Director - Randy WelkRandy Welk has been serving as Executive Director of Camp Pinewood since September 1, 2022. He retired early from a 32-year career as a statistician with USDA to pursue fulltime ministry. He and his wife Lori have been supporters of the Idaho Regular Baptist Bible Camp Association since Camp Maranatha. They participated in the first week of camp the association held at Camp Pinewood. Randy was serving on
the Executive Board of Camp Pinewood when the Lord moved in heart to accept the Executive Director position. He is also involved in ministry at McCall Baptist Church where he serves on the Deacon Board and teaches the Middle School Sunday School Class. Assistant Executive Director - Kyle Maschek
Kyle joined the Camp Pinewood (CPW) staff as Assistant Executive Director in November of 2022. Kyle and his wife Bobbie have been attending and serving in various ministries at New Hope Baptist Church of Nampa, Idaho since 2010. Together with their 2 adult children they have always enjoyed life in the outdoors and the mountains of Idaho. They are overwhelmingly grateful for the opportunity to serve Christ by serving His church in the ministry at Camp Pinewood. GUEST SERVICES SPECIALIST - AUTUMN RAMIREZ
Autumn Ramirez joined the Camp Pinewood staff as a Food Service Specialist in June of 2023. In March of 2024, she began overseeing all of Guest Services. Autumn and her furry friend Kai love to be outdoors going on walks with friends, and going on hikes, while also appreciating a quiet evening with a good book. She is currently enrolled in online classes through Boise State University for a Major in Behavioral Education, she will graduate in fall of 2025. She has attended Columbia Heights throughout the years since 2014 and has attended Camp Pinewood as a camper. PROGRAM SPECIALIST - NATHAN CUKURS
Nathan Cukurs started at Camp in March of 2022 as the Program Specialist. Nathan primarily programs our summer camps, but he also spends a lot of time helping maintain our facilities, especially plowing the snow in the winter. Nathan served 6 years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman from 2015 to 2021. He worked up at Camp as the Servant Staff Leader in the Summers of 2021 and 2022. He also served as a cabin lead for High School Camp and Foster Kids Camp in 2021. He is currently the Youth Director at McCall Baptist Church. Nathan enjoys drawing, leading worship, and hiking. Nathan grew up going to Meridian First Baptist Church between 2000 and 2010, and attended Camp Pinewood as a camper while growing up in Idaho. FOOD SERVICE SPECIALIST - BRITTANY WEEKS
Brittany is originally from Idaho and grew up attending youth camps and college retreats at Camp Cascade, Quaker Hill Camp, and Camp Pinewood. After earning her AA degree at CWI, she went on to Bible College, where she met a recruiter for Quaker Hill Camp. In May 2018, Brittany moved to McCall to work at Quaker Hill and quickly discovered her passion for cooking on a commercial scale. Before relocating, she had worked at a bagel sandwich shop, but she found her true calling in serving food to large groups and working in ministry. Just two weeks into the summer, Brittany accepted a full-time position, and as she was trained, she fell in love with food service. She later pursued her food certification and enjoyed teaching others food skills and how to prepare meals. In 2024, Brittany married her wonderful husband, Daniel, and they made Donnelly their home. They love playing board games and card games, as well as camping together. When Brittany isn't working, you can find her crafting, hiking, snowboarding, spending time with family and friends, or creating something delicious in the kitchen. contact Brittany at [email protected] |
